Scholes International Airport Development
Scholes International Airport is a vital asset for Galveston’s economy and connectivity. The PAC supports the full implementation of the airport’s Master Plan, which includes introducing commercial airline services, enhancing facilities for private aviation, and ensuring sustainable growth. Expanding airport services will not only increase tourism but also provide new business opportunities for the island.
Modernizing Public Transportation
Efficient and accessible public transportation is essential for connecting communities and reducing traffic congestion. The PAC supports initiatives to modernize Galveston’s public transit system, including the introduction of rubber tire trolleys—a modern twist on a beloved icon.
